Unfortunately, It's a No Go!
As the title suggests, the news is in, and it's not the news we'd hoped for. My mother is unable to donate a kidney to me. The search continues. Not the news I wanted to share in this post. Was hoping to be able to share a fanfare of excitement and fireworks! Alas, not just yet, I remain positive and have some other more positive news to share with you.
Following on from the two London Assembly Meetings on the 10th of January 2019 and the 18th March 2019, I'm pleased to share the news that ACLT has reached out to me to help with my campaign. For those of you who are not familiar with ACLT - first and foremost, shame on you! Here's a very short history lesson from the Founders themselves.

With their help, my voice can travel so much further so you can imagine how grateful I am to them for reaching out to me to help push this forward. I feel their involvement deserves a Blog Post all of its own, so I won't go into any more about their involvement here. Look out for a future post. I can certainly say it has been one of the few highlights to this journey I'm on. They are heroes to many, whilst remaining humble and focused on their unwavering mission.
You can drop me a message either via Twitter @Naomi_My_Story or HERE I love reading all of your messages of encouragement.
If you are moved by my story and want to get more involved, please consider doing one of the following two things:
1. Registering to become an Organ Donor here: https://www.organdonation.nhs.uk/ if you do, be sure to let me know!
New registrations give me a boost!
2. If you want to help me directly by being tested to see if you could donate, you will need to be aware of the following:
- Firstly, I am BLOOD TYPE O-NEGATIVE it's important you know this in advance to be considered for a possible direct donation.Failing that, an indirect donation is still a possibility. Please still get in touch using the below...
- Secondly, please complete THIS FORM and someone will get back to you to move things forward.
AGAIN, THANK YOU!
